Today, Logitech G and ASTRO Gaming announced that they have partnered on the development of high performance in-ear headphones to support PC, VR, Console and Mobile Gaming. The new in-ear headphones will share the same design, performance and audio quality that gamers have come to expect from Logitech G and ASTRO, with specialized features optimized for each gaming experience.
This new line of in-ear headphones from Logitech G and ASTRO are a light-weight, portable audio solution that leverage a shared architecture. They feature customized dual audio drivers (one for highs and mids, one for bass) to provide rich and detailed sound for in-game audio and voice chat. Most configurations include a high-quality inline microphone and mobile device controls. They are designed to fit comfortably and include 3 sizes of soft silicone ear tips. The sturdy aluminium housing and tangle-free flat cables ensure reliability, durability and a premium look and feel. The Logitech G versions will be optimized for PC and VR gaming, while the ASTRO versions will be focused on Console and Mobile gaming.
The first new product being introduced from this partnership is the Logitech G333 VR Gaming Headphone. The new Logitech G333 VR was designed in close collaboration with the Oculus team specifically for the new Oculus Quest 2 VR Headset. The customized VR in-ear headphone features a custom length, asymmetrical cable, a clean cable line without the distraction of an in-line mic and audio profile tuning, for an immersive and refined audio experience for Oculus Quest 2 gamers. In addition, we also introduced the Logitech PRO Gaming Headset Oculus Ready edition, the official over-ear audio solution for Oculus Quest 2.
