It has always been a challenge for K-12 and higher education institutions to garner adequate funding for projects. And now, due to the pandemic, schools and campuses across the world are now facing an ever-growing need to embrace new models of education and expand their distance learning capabilities to provide access to more students anytime, anywhere, on an even tighter budget.
To offer assistance, Logitech is announcing the Logitech Grant Services Program. This program will provide educational institutions – as well as healthcare institutions, government agencies and nonprofits – with grants information, customized funder research, and consultation to help develop project ideas, get technology-rich projects funded, and even expand initiatives that are already in the works.
“Federal and state grants are part of the budget picture for nearly every public sector agency in the country,” said Michele Herman, Head of Education Solutions, Logitech. “However, many agencies are understaffed for grants development or lack the experience to utilize these programs to advance their missions. Our team of experts can help find and apply for grant funding for investments in video collaboration, mobility, creativity, and productivity solutions that can improve, expand, or enhance program initiatives.”
With on-going uncertainty in education and distance learning, grants are a critical pathway to funding programs that deliver vital community services – especially for schools that don’t have the necessary resources for technology investments. Logitech’s Grant Services Program can provide as little or as much help as needed. Although grant writing services are not included in the program, they can be added for a fee. Our program includes these comprehensive services at no cost:
- Project Consultation: Grants Development Consultants work with the Logitech Grants Support Program to help develop and define projects in the context of what funders want to support. If the school already has an idea of their preferred technology, Grants Development Consultants will help articulate and advocate the need for this technology, and bolster other elements that might further strengthen the project.
- Funder Research: Logitech Grants Support Program consultants will develop customized reports on funding opportunities that are the best fit with the specific project. These reports will identify the most relevant funders, based on the project, organization, and the geographic location where the project will be deployed. Then the consultants will review their findings with the university.
- Grants Development Support: In order to obtain funding for technology projects, schools will have to submit a competitive grant application to a qualified list of funding prospects. Whatever capacity and resources customers have to dedicate to developing grant proposals, the Logitech Grants Support Program will help see the process through.
